  • Old and New Delhi – Magnificent Red Fort, Jama Mosque, Qutab Minar (tallest minaret in India), Humayun’s Tomb, Lutyen’s Delhi and an enthralling rickshaw ride through the crowded alleys of Chandani Chowk

    Jaipur – Elephant Ride at Amber Fort, Hawa Mahal, City Palace Museum,  JantarMantar.

  • Day 01: Delhi – Welcome to India
    A
    rrival in Delhi, meet and greet, transfer to hotel and stay overnight to recover from jet lag.

    Day 2: Delhi Tour (B)
    Early morning sightseeing tour of Old Delhi: Red Fort, Jama Mosque, Chandani Chowk Market and Raj Ghat. Experience a rickshaw ride in the crowed alleys of Chandani Chowk. Afternoon drive to Agra (250 Kms/4 hrs.) by express highway. Overnight stay in hotel.

    Day 03: Jaipur (B)
    Travel overland to Jaipur, the largest city of Rajasthan also known as Pink City. This royal city is known for its heritage, culture and architecture. In the evening stroll around local markets to discover exquisite handicrafts and prominent jewelries which add life and color to this unique Pink city. Overnight stay in hotel.

    Day 04: Jaipur Tour (B)
    Enjoy the city tour beginning with an exclusive elephant ride at Amber Fort. Then visit Hawa Mahal ( The Palace of Winds), City Palace Museum and The Jantar Mantar Observatory. Evening at your own leisure. Overnight stay in hotel.

    Day 05: Agra en-route visit to Fatehpur Sikri(B)1
    Drive to Agra, en-route stop at Fatehpur Sikri (The City of Victory), the former Capital of Mughal Empire built during 16th Century by the Emperor Akbar. In the evening enjoy a walk in the local market of Agra: Sadar Bazaar which is world famous for handicrafts, marble goods and leather shoes. Overnight stay in hotel.

    Day 06: Agra – Taj Mahal (B)
    Visit the world famous monument Taj Mahal, an epitome of love built by Emperor Shah Jahan for his queen during 17th Century. Then visit Agra Fort also known as Red Fort of Agra; a red stone walled palatial monument built by Emperor Akbar. In the evening you may opt to witness a Light and Sound show at Agra Fort or spend time at your own leisure. Overnight stay in hotel.

    Day 07: Khajuraho enroute visit Orchha  (B)
    Early morning fast train to Jhansi (travel time-2.5 hours). Arrival at Jhansi Station and drive towards Orchha (means “Hidden”). It is a small town having served as the capital of one of the largest and most powerful kingdoms of Central India. Orchha has magnificent forts and temples which still retain their grandeur. Visit Orchha Fort Complex, Raja Ram Temple and Cenotaphs. Drive towards Khajuraho (4 hours/ 180 Kms). Overnight stay in hotel.

    Day 08: Khajuraho-Tour (B)
    Enjoy early morning sightseeing of Eastern and Western group of temples in Khajuraho. A UNESCO world heritage site, Khajuraho at times referred to as the Kamasutra temple is world renowned for its sculptured temples dedicated to Shiva, Vishnu and Jain deities. The temples are full of sexually explicit carvings both inside and outside.  In the evening you may opt for a Sound and Light show at Western group of Temples or cultural Kandariya Folk Dance show at Indoor Theatre. You may also choose to spend time at your own leisure. Overnight stay in hotel.

    Day 09: Varanasi (B)
    Early morning: Visit the Southern group of temples and then fly to Varanasi (30 min). Upon arrival, meet and greet, transfer to hotel. In the evening enjoy Aarti Ceremony at Ganges River from a boat: a spectacular must-see choreographed ceremony which commences with the blowing of a conch shell and continues with the waving of incense sticks in elaborate patterns and circling of large flaming lamps that create a bright hue against the darkened sky. Overnight stay in hotel.

    Day 10: Varanasi (B)
    Early morning, ride a boat on the Ganges and explore the Ghats. Return to the hotel  for breakfast and rest. Later visit Sarnath (15km excursion) and return to visit Benaras Hindu University, temples and then walk through crowded alleyways and market. Overnight stay in Hotel.

    Day 11: Varanasi – Delhi (B)
    Transfer to airport for your flight to Delhi. Connect to your international flight OR you can opt for extension tour to Nepal and Kathmandu.
