    Leh – Important ancient caravan route at the crossroads of Central Asia, Kashmir and Tibet.
    Stunning nine-storey old Palace. The main bazaar, Jokhang, Sankar Monastery and the Shanti Stupa.

    Dha-Hanu – Renowned as ‘the Land of Aryans’, these villages are settlements of the unique Drokpa
    or Brokpa community in Ladakh.

    Tibetan Buddhist Monasteries – Discovering the main monasteries of Ladakh: Alchi, Likir, Lamayuru, Tiksey and Hemis.

    Nubra Valley – Beautiful valley where sand and river merge, accessible by one of the highest roads in the world at 5,600 meters. In this oasis you can ride a camel.

    Pangong Lake – A beautiful lake with deep blue waters, surrounded by tall mountain peaks. This lake lies on the Indo -China boundary, with only one fourth of the lake being in India. The road to this lake passes through Chang-la, the world’s third Highest motorable road.

    Stok – Across the Indus and a few km up a side road, Stok is a pleasant village with the old King of Ladakh’s palace.


  • Day 01: Arrival in Delhi
    Arrival in Delhi and transfer to your hotel for over night stay.

    Day 2: Delhi
    You will enjoy full day sightseeing of Delhi covering Old Delhi and New Delhi.

    Day 03: Flight Delhi – Leh
    Early morning flight to Leh 11800ft, the capital of Ladakh. On arrival at Kushok Bakula Rinpoche (KBR) Airport transfer to hotel 3 kms/ 10 min. Full day rest for high altitude acclimatization which is a must for all visitors to Ladakh. Evening you can take an easy walk to market to stretch and shop. Overnight stay at hotel.

    Day 04: Leh
    This morning, after breakfast proceed to visit Shanti Stupa built by Japanese monks to promote world peace, this large hilltop stupa has brightly colored reliefs on its mid-levels and is topped by a spired white hemisphere (smoking is prohibited here). Later visit Sankar Gompa monastery, an eye-catching monastery, it is crowned with a spire made in gold and a dharma charka. Later Visit Leh Palace, built in the 17th century in the grand tradition of Tibetan architecture. The rest of the evening is for your own leisure. Overnight stay in Leh.

    Day 05:Leh-Alchi
    After breakfast excursion to visit the 1000 year old paintings of Alchi Monastery 68 km from Leh, en-route visit the great statue of Maiterya Buddha at Likir monastery. Sangam of Indus & Zanskar rivers which, are the two major rivers in Ladakh, Magnetic Hill and Military Hall of Fame. Overnight stay at hotel.

    Day 06: Alchi- Lamayuru-Ule
    After breakfast excursion to visit Lamayuru Monastery 57 km from Alchi. Later drive to Ule. Evening you can go for a walk around the village. Overnight stay in Ule at camp.

    Day 07: Ule- Dhahanu- Nurla.
    Morning after breakfast drive to Dhahanu which is situated to the southwest of Leh, around 95 kms. There are many small villages but only two villages of Dha and Hanu are the center of attraction. Being at a lower altitude Dhahanu is warmer than Leh. The main attraction in Dhahanu is the Drokpa Community considered to be the last race of Aryans confined to this valley. Their features are pure Indo-Aryan and they have managed to preserve their racial purity over centuries. Later drive towards Nurla for overnight stay at camp.

    Day 07: Nurla- leh.
    Morning after break fast drive back to Leh leaving behind the scenic beauty of southwest Ladakh. Late noon check in at the hotel. Rest of the evening, you are free to explore the local market. Overnight stay at hotel.

    Day 09: Leh
    After an early breakfast, proceed for a full day Indus Valley tour which includes visit to Shey Palace, Thiksey and Hemis which are among the most historically important and magnificent Buddhist Monasteries in Ladakh (90 km round trip / 7-8 hrs). Evening, you are free to explore the market in Leh. Overnight stay at hotel.

    Day 10: Leh – Nubra Valley
    Morning drive to Nubra Valley 125km crossing Khardongla Pass 18360 ft, the world highest motorable pass. Afternoon visit Diskit & Hunder Monasteries and the white sand dunes with perhaps a Camel Safari on the double humped Camels which are found only in Nubra as far as India is concerned. Overnight stay at Deluxe Camp.

    Day 11: Nubra
    Morning drive to Hot spring at Panamik village, Ensa and Samstanling monasteries. Late noon arrive back at Leh. Evening, you are free to explore the village. Overnight stay in Nubra camp.

    Day 11: Nubra Valley – Leh
    D
    rive back to Leh via Khardungla pass. Free evening  in Leh bazaars for last minute shopping.  In Leh one can purchase items like pure Pashmina shawls, good pearls, Chinese cutlery and beautiful Ladakhi wooden handicrafts. Overnight stay at hotel

    Day 13: Leh- Saboo- Stok.
    After breakfast, drive to Saboo village and explore the village life of Ladakh. Visit local Buddhist house to see the private chapels, the traditional kitchen and visit an Oracle Lady in Saboo village who is considered to have healing powers and can foretell your future. Then later drive to Stok where you can visit Stok Palace. Overnight stay in Stok at a local house where one can experience a traditional home setting. You will get a chance to try homemade butter tea, barley drink etc.

    Day 14: Stok- Pangong

    ull day excursion to Pangong Lake 135 km / 4400m east of Leh crossing Changla Pass 17500ft and driving via Durbuk and Tangtse villages in the Changthang region of Ladakh. Perhaps one of the most amazing lakes in Asia which changes its color 4 – 5 times a day. Afternoon, explore the lake and enjoy a romantic walk along its shores. Overnight stay in tent Camp.

    Day 15: Pangong – Leh
    Travelers can enjoy early morning photo-shoot of the lake which looks great, breakfast and then drive back to Leh. If back to Leh by noon, then you are free to do last minute shopping at your own leisure. Overnight stay at hotel.

    Day 16: Leh – Delhi (Flight)
    Morning transfer to KBR airport for flight to Delhi. Over night stay in Delhi

    Day 17: Departure
    Transfer to airport for flight back home.
